Apple Pie Fizz

This drink is like apple pie in a glass! A perfect drink for Fall. You can add alcohol or not as the syrup is great for making mocktails by just mixing with club soda. You can make the cider concentrate and keep in the refrigerator for up to a month.

Ingredients

Apple Cider Concentrate
4 cups apple cider
1 TBSP cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp whole cloves
2 tsp black peppercorns
2 tsp whole cardamom
1inch knob fresh ginger
optional: pinch red pepper flakes
Remaining ingredients
Apple flavored rum, whiskey or brandy
Club Soda

Directions

First, make the apple cider concentrate: Put all of the ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil. Then lower heat to bring to a slow boil until the liquid is decreased by 75%. About an hour or so. Let the concentrate cool and use a strainer to remove solids.

To mix drinks:
Fill glass with ice.
Pour 1 oz. of alcohol of choice (or skip if making mocktail). Then add 1 oz. of cider concentrate.
Fill glass with club soda and stir.

Ingredients

Short or tall glass filled with ice
1/2 or full shot of favorite tequila
Splash of Tres Agaves Margarita mix ( about 1/2 shot)
juice of 1/2 lime
Lime Seltzer or plain club soda

Directions

Fill glass with ice. Add in tequila, Tres Agaves Margarita mix and juice of 1/2 a lime. Fill glass with lime seltzer or club soda, stir to combine.

Ingredients

1 cup mayonnaise
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tsp anchovy paste
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper

Directions

In a small bowl, whisk all ingredients until well combined.

Total carb count for the hummus is 36 grams
This recipe makes about 60 crackers each containing 1 gram of carb

Ingredients

For the hummus
4 cups canned artichoke hearts
2 cloves of garlic
1 1/2 tsp of sesame oil
Juice of 1/2 lemon
3 Tbsp of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the crackers
3 cups almond flour
1 tsp salt
1 cup sesame seeds
2 Tbsp avocado oil
2 eggs

Directions

Artichoke Hummus

Purée all ingredients in a Food Processor. Place in dish and Drizzle with additional olive oil.

Sesame Crackers

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the dry ingredients together then add avocado oil and eggs ,mix well.
Divide dough into 3 pieces. Place one piece between 2 pieces of parchment paper and roll to 1/16 inch thickness. Remove the top piece of parchment paper and cut the dough into 1 1/2 inch squares with a knife. Then place parchment paper on a baking sheet. Repeat with the two additional pieces of dough. Bake for 15 minutes until golden. Let crackers cool on baking sheet for 30 minutes

Juice from 1 lemon
2 garlic cloves
2 cups packed basil, about 2 bunches
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Combine all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
