Bacon Deviled Eggs

Because everything is better with bacon. Classic deviled eggs dressed up with crispy bacon and fresh chives.

Ingredients

6 hard-boiled eggs, cooled and peeled
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp dill relish
1 tsp dijion mustard
2-3 dashes of your favorite hot sauce
2 strips crispy cooked bacon, chopped
1 tbsp fresh chives, diced
paprika, for garnish

Directions

Sliced hard-boiled eggs in half and remove yolks. Place yolks in a bowl and mash with a fork. Add dill relish, mayonnaise, dijon mustard, and a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce, mix until well combined and creamy.

Spoon mixture evenly into eggs. Garnish each egg with a sprinkle of paprika, chopped bacon, and fresh chives.

Ingredients

2 14 oz. cans hearts of palms, chopped
¼ cup fresh chives, chopped
½ cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
1 tsp grated lime zest
juice from 1/2 lime, about 2 tbsp
cup extra virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
1 tsp kosher salt
½ tsp black pepper
Fresh vegetables for serving; carrots, celery, cucumbers, radishes, ect.

Directions

Place all ingredients into a food processor and mix until well combined. Transfer to a bowl and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Serve alongside your favorite vegetables for dipping.

Lemon Dill Mayo

MAKES ABOUT 1/2 A CUP

Ingredients

½ cup mayonnaise ( preferably made with avocado oil or EVOO)
1 tbsp fres dill, minced
1 tbsp dijion mustard
juice of 1/2 lemon
salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and serve. Refrigerate in air-tight container for up to one week. Goes great with roasted vegetables or salmon.

Soy-Free Classic Caesar Dressing

Ingredients

1 tsp anchovy paste
1 tsp coconut aminos
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp dijion mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
½ lemon, juiced (about 1 tablespoon)
1 large egg, yolk
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

In a small bowl whisk together anchovy paste, coconut aminos, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, egg yolk, salt and pepper until combined. Slowly pour in extra virgin olive oil while whisking vigorously. Whisk until dressing is thick and has emulsified.

Homemade Taco/Fajita Seasoning

Homemade Taco/Fajita Seasoning

Makes enough for 3 pounds of taco meat.

Ingredients

2 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
1 ½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried onion powder
1 tsp oregano
¼ tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp cayenne pepper, optional
2 tbsp arrowroot powder

Directions

Instructions

Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight container.

Use 2 Tbsp seasoning for every pound of ground meat.

Brown meat in a skillet and then drain off excess fat.

Return meat to pan and add in seasoning mix and 1/2 cup of water.

Mix well and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook 3-4 minutes.
